Digitally Remastered, for the True Star Wars Fan!
The best trilogy of The Trilogy--Why? Because this is the digitally remastered version of course! You can look forward to fun new scenes like: Han Solo shooting Greedo in self-defense, a trimmer Jaba the Hut showing up in A New Hope, because, why not? Chewie Swings from a vine in Return of the Jedi and does a Tarzan yell, because that is soooo Wizard, I mean, Woookie! Wait, there's more! A very timely and ultimately quite relevant musical number in Jaba's lair, which takes away from the dark brooding presence of the murderous Hut family and all of the scum of the galaxy coming to hang out in the desert for a galactic Lollapalooza. Like I said, all of these changes were quite relevant and only added to the popularity of the series.
I am even more excited now that Disney has taken over the galaxy (um, literally), so now we can look forward to such new introductions as: A cameo by Donald Duck during a pod race on Tatooine! The Jedi Temple on Corusant will now be replaced with Cinderella's Castle. Leah, now an official Disney Princess will have all of her pant suits retrofitted into modest dresses, and yes, you can stand in line for three hours to get a picture with her too! What a joy. At any rate, this is a classic, it is cheaper than the non-digitally remastered version where Han shot first because Greedo had it coming, and Jaba didn't show up until Episode 6. Unfortunately a scene that ended up on the cutting room floor was where Vader tells Luke that he is Luke's father, he goes into greater detail: explaining that it was a very difficult time between him and Padme, she kept spending money on clothes and they were running out of imperial credits because Jedi Knighting doesn't pay well (look at Yoda's Crib, and he was a Master!) and ultimately he thought it would be best if he just join the dark side and she should move on--but there was this nasty custody thing happening, I hope you will understand Luke, I never meant to hurt you, well except just now when I cut your hand off, that was totally my bad. Again, all very relevant. Would I buy it again? No, because I have a copy. If it gets scratched, then yes I will buy it again for sure.
