Never never rated highly enough
A group on a mission - but with the ability to compose, play and excite their audience into a frenzy. Yet somehow, success eluded them. Stunning guitar work, hard-driving rock and dynamic compositions were tempered with spacey lighter sounds, that even now bring back memories of being in some Godforsaken field at a festival and not caring about the wind and rain as these guys strutted their stuff. Highlights are the anthemic 'Do it', the plaintive 'War Girl' and the amazing 'Uncle Harry's Last Freakout' which defies description but will leave you drained from just listening to it. Along with the Edgar Broughton Band, Hawkwind, Quintessence and Stray, they belong to the great unrewarded talents of the 1970 period. You won't regret checking this out.
