HDR-CX240
1 of 1 found this helpful A little smaller than a pop can. Which may be an issue for people with large hands, or long fingers as when the camera is in the crotch of the thumb reaching the record and zoom buttons might be a slight challenge. The protective lens cover is manual so one needs to remember to close it after use.
The camera is turned on and off by opening and closing the monitor so you can't set it up and turn off the monitor to extend the battery life. If that's important, you'll need a unit with a viewfinder; they can usually be operated without using the monitor.
Comes with a 1240 mAh battery which lasts over 2 hours. After market 1600 mAh batteries are available, but might
not last any longer if the quality is not the same.
