Good value, seems solid after two months, moves easily from comp to comp

Bought a refurb and it has performed well. The software for backup from Western D is adequate, but is really best suited for pics, movies, songs, personal text documents and similar. For general files, the interface is fair. Install was simple and quick. Documentation and web site is average to good. For the USB interface, a USB 3.0 interface at the computer improves performance significantly. When adding a card to get a USB 3.0 interface, the PCIe version 2 firmware produces performance levels at almost 2X the version 1 firmware level. If you cannot tell if you have version 1 or 2, I found that the "PC Wizard" tool will let you get that information. I am using the 5 volt power interface on the USB 3.0 adapter even though it appears I do not "need" to for this particular device. I would easily recommend this particular external device.

Bought as a replacement and glad we found it

The game was a favorite for the grandson, but the disc was lost or misplaced. This has been a well received replacement for a game that has been a favorite for some time. Happy Grandparent.
