Moving, engrossing book
1 of 1 found this helpful I expected this book to be difficult, and it will require a second reading. But it's well worth the time. I'm learning a great deal about an experience I can hardly imagine--the sheer cold, starvation as policy, and the limits of human resilience. I am in awe.
