BAD DESIGN

not quite sure how these have a high rating. i have a newer ruger american with this new style magazine that won't feed all style bullets just pointy polymer tip bullets. most bullets run into the bottom of the barrel under chamber and don't feed at all. another ruger american i have has the old style rotary style magazine that works fine but i wanted a spare magazine. i couldn't find the old style magazine and is why i bought this one for a spare/back up. this magazine design is seriously flawed. it uses the flat folded style spring that is install so that it puts upward pressure at the back of the magazine and the front of the rounds are not pushed up enough for proper feeding. in this magazine all bullets are either running into the bottom of the barrel under the chamber or into the inside front of the magazine it self. i see there are a lot of people that have had good luck with them and i am happy for them that they didn't receive my magazine.

awesome if with needle nose pliers

if you have needle nose pliers, great. if not you will need a pair to get bits out of case because they are hard to get out. they are quality bits as expected from milwaulkee and are fast in and out of a impact driver vs a drill chuck. 4 stars only because of difficulty removing from case.
