Gives peace of mind but is not user friendly.
Upside: Good, robust disc lock. Typical German engineering; solid and practical.
Downside: It takes finesse and a quick hand to prevent the screeching alarm going off in your ears.
I would not go for this type of disc lock again. The one I would go for would be an Abus disc lock without the alarm.
