Plug it in and watch it turn back and forth while off.
Real junk right out of the box.
Hassle to return to Best buy.

Runs well but it is not automatic.

Would prefer a unit that shuts the fan off when it is at the right humidity. Compressor shuts off.
The fan runs all the time. Not efficient and will burn out far faster.
