Sir Cumference and the First Round Table
The best review possible is what I witnessed as two of my favorite 11yr old visual learners, both with IEPs, were learning 6th grade geometry - they actually both wanted to use this story book as a reference to help them remember geometric formulas for diameter and circumference. That’s when I knew we needed a copy in our home library. This book is brilliant! The story is easy to read, the medieval setting and characters inspire a sense of adventure, and the way the author works math into the story is about as brilliant as hidden veggies in favorite foods - except the kids know the math is there, and just plain adore it anyway. I highly recommend this book, and look forward to seeing more of the series.

Bug-A-Salt
2 of 2 found this helpful OMG, I KNEW my brother needed one of these! So I got him one for Christmas. He lives in Tampa, FL, so even in December, there’s plenty of fun to be had. Plus, my sister in law has a barn and horses, so there’s even more opportunity for some good fly shootin’ there. This gun was a hit! By the end of the day, my brother and my brother in law were having lots of fun with it. By the next day, my brother had gotten half the neighbors on the street hooked, and was planning on buying some for them. Bug-A-Salt’s not only fun, it’s good old fashioned social bonding over a few dead bugs and a cheap canister of salt! What a blast! (Pun intended!) XD
