A good entertaining film
Although this film was made in 1963, it is still a good film based on a book by W. H. Canaway. About an orphaned boy Sammy (Fergus McClelland) who through several adventures travels from Egypt to South Africa. Stars Edward G. Robinson as Cocky Wainwright who is an illegal prospector/game hunter and his partner Lem played by Harry H. Corbett. Cocky Wainright likes Sammy and at the boys request allows him to stay. Things don’t work out as either wish, but that would ruin the plot. A good entertaining film.
