Impressive Sounding, Great Looking Speaker
Matching speaker for Heathkit HW 12, HW 22, HW 23, and probably many other Heathkit outfits. Comes with RCA connection. Ham voice and CW is much louder and clearer with this unit than with the speaker I had been using. Permanent magnet oval speaker, no amplification, and none needed with this speaker. The 2 tone cabinet matches many Heathkit rigs. This speaker does a good job of dressing up my ham shack. Well worth the money. I highly recommend.

Used Mavica with Memory Stick as good as New $1000 Camera.
One of the best digital camera's ever made. Just as sharp as newer camera's. Have several of these camera's, been using the Mavica for over 20 years. Love them. Con's: 2 drawbacks, the floppy drives are finicky, I only use removable memory cards via USB and adapter directly to PC , 2nd drawback - the USB port on these camera's cannot connect to many PC's (window's 7). Avoid the 2 drawbacks by using a memory stick only. Great camera for Photos. Forget the movie function. No one wants to see a 5 to 15 second movie clip. This is a quality photo camera only not a movie camera. Hint: I do photo sharpen all my pictures in Paint Shop Pro before printing. The difference in photo quality between these old Mavica's and a new $1000 camera is nil. $5 to $20 for a used Mavica and $1000 for new camera, this is a no brainer.
Be Sure to get a Mavica with a Memory Stick. Forget the floppy.

Great SW Receiver
3 of 3 found this helpful I rate this Kenwood R-600 very highly. It is sensitive, has a beautiful and easy to read dial, is easy to tune in to SSB and CW, is very stable, and has a nice tone. The lighted meter is a plus. Basically, this is a very good SW receiver for the serious SW listener, without all the costly and unnecessary frills, and sells for reasonable price. I have had mine for over 30 years with no problems. I can get SW stations from all over the world with no problems.
