Fast phone, great for first time android users, Htc has done it again!

The battery seems bad except if you get the extended battery it is not as bad as people say it is. The speakers are decent, nothing special. The downside to them is that the kickstand blocks them, so if you want the full experience with them, you have to have the kickstand open. Gorilla glass screen prevents this phone from getting any scratches, and the back of it seems to be almost scratch proof too. The kickstand starts to show wear, but its expected. Using this phone is great, but when downloading or switching from tasks quickly, it can get a little slow. Rooting works fantastic, no problems with that. This is my first android phone, but because of HTC's fantastic user interface I manage to navigate between apps and homescreens like a breeze. There is backlight leakage if you look at the phone at an angle, and the lighting where the dedicated touch buttons (home panel) looks almost choppy but it is sufficient. I was reluctant to buy this phone, given the mixed reviews I kept reading about, but for my first android phone it has been a god of a machine and there isn't a moment throughout the day that is doesn't help make my life easier. This phone is beastly and deserves to be called the thunderbolt, it's bloody fast!
