3pcs/set 60W/40W/30W T Soldering Iron Tips for LCD Screen Flex Cable Repair
    08 May, 2019
Works perfectly if you follow a few golden rules
I bought the replacement ribbon cable for my Peugeot 206CC for missing lines in the display, and then realised that you need the special T-bit to 'solder' it in. I use inverted commas because no solder is required, it is purely heat you apply via the T-bit and a rubber pad. I was sceptical and watched a few U-Tube demos before attempting the repair. The trick is to make sure you clean the old contacts perfectly- I used fine wire wool on the PCB, working away from the board and not across the contacts in case they lifted, and acetone on the display contacts which are completely flat and almost invisible. Avoid getting acetone on the display itself, it can attack the plastic. The second trick it to align the ribbon with the contacts. Align it in the middle and let the two ends take care of themselves, and hold with masking tape at the edges. Use the T-bit slowly with light pressure, moving along the cable edge, using the 30W bit in a 30W soldering iron. You may then need to trim the excess clear plastic from the ribbon cable at either end to fit it back together. My first attempt was semi-successful, with one line missing, so I reheated, and then it was 100% good. I was very impressed and well happy, not to mention surprised at the success, as it amounted to a fix for about a fiver. The tip worked a treat.
FORD FOCUS MK1 1998-2004 2 FRONT LOWER WISHBONE ARMS & FIXING BOLT KIT
    29 May, 2019
    Good quality and fits fine
The wishbone itself is fine and fits perfectly, don't forget to refit the locking washer fitted on the rear inner bolt between arm and subframe. I only give 4 stars because the fitting kit is wrong. Wrong diameter lower ball joint pinch bolt, though you can reuse your old one, and wrong inner rear bolt (looks like a sub-frame bolt) though it does fit and uses the old nut. The bolt stretches, not the nut, so thats ok. Outer rear bolt is not a stretch bolt, so not supplied and you reuse the old one.

Well made kit and fitted perfectly, alot cheaper than a new caliper if assembled correctly! Ample rubber grease supplied.
