Actually impressed
These pickups although rather cheap, has given me exactly what I was looking for: Hi gain and clear output. I've installed them in a Pearl River Les Paul model. So yes - a really cheap guitar. But these pickups have really brought it to life. And the don't sound Les Paulish ... which for me is a good thing.
The neck pickup has a nice round sound but without any muffling. And the bridge pickup is just so nice and clear. And when you add some heavy distortion to it, it's still beefy enough to play some metal.
As the title states I'm impressed with how good they are at this price point. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Better than what my snare was born with
I bought an old and very knackered Pearl Free Floating Piccolo snare drum and the strainer was broken, and this item fitted like a glove. And the construction is better than the strainer my snare was born with. So I am a very happy camper. Especially because this model has gone out of production.
