Low Profile USB 3.0 Header Extender Cable

Could not get cable to work for more than a second

Seems like the cables are either too thin or the construction is not good. Plugging a working USB3 header cable to this adapter caused the power lines to apparently work bit not the data lines. When moving the connector from the motherboard connection side sometimes I see the correct data activity on a USB flash drive attached to the USB port, bit was unable to get it to keep working at all.
