RELIEF FROM PAIN AND INFLAMMATION WITHOUT STOMACH ACHE
These patches containing the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory ketoprofen can be applied on the skin and the active principle is absorbed well in the area of application, relieving pain and inflammation without having to take the drug by mouth. This technological advance from South Korea is good news for those of us with sensitive stomachs, who can take just so much anti-inflammatory without causing belly ache and nausea. The patches stay in place for 12 hours and no bad symptoms after the application. They are small in size, so if one has pains and aches in a larger area, for example somewhere in the back or shoulder, the use of several patches is required. They do not come cheap, because they need to be imported from South Korea. I wish they would be approved in the USA, so they would be more easily available.

EXCELLENT ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PATCHES
1 of 1 found this helpful Very good anti-inflammatory patches containing ketoprofen (drug in the same category as ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory), which are not available in the USA. They are good quality patches that seem to deliver ketoprofen in a quite satisfactory way, calming pain locally in specific points, without the hazard of taking the drug orally and risking gastrointestinal symptoms (stomach ache, nausea, etc.). They are relatively small and one would need several of them (around 3-4) to cover the lower back, for instance. Additionally, because they come from South Korea, they end up being pricey, around $0.50 per each small patch.
