The selection of songs is a true picture of what Bette can do. She can make you laugh and cry with the raw emotions which each conveys.
The Rose is delivered with a passion and poyniency rarely heard from other female singers.
A truely great album.

joe cocker, hymn for my soul
2 of 2 found this helpful fantastic cd, saw joe livein sheffield this year and was knockd out by his performance. this cd will be a permenant reminder of a marvelous gig. Joe really rocks!!!!! He can show these young lightweights how its done.

FANTASTIC, BETTER TRACKS THAN TAKE THAT,
I had this album on tape but hadn't played it for some time, then I went to see Take That live at Manchester!! When I got home I went straight on Ebay and looked the guys up and as well as buying dome Take That stuff I found this album on CD. It was a snip at £4.99. Playing it again was like hearing it for the first time, so many good songs sincere and heartfelt but not sugary and sweet. Gary is indeed a wonderful writer and a consumate performer. I would recommend any Take That fan who hasn't heard this to track it down it's well worth it.
