Extremely good value.
1 of 1 found this helpful Reviews of this machine were mixed so I bought apprehensively wondering if paying twice as much was wiser. The first thing you notice on unpacking is it is very easy to move around. I installed it, read the manual, loaded it with heavily soiled saucepans and set it on eco programme. The load came out clean as a whistle. You can barely hear the machine running, honestly. The Bosch machine that we had for 20 years had the same sort of noise level to a boiling kettle, this machine is quieter than the clock. Controls are set out in order, on/off, then programme choice, 1/2 load, then start/pause. Very easy to understand and set. The upper drawer can be raised or lowered and even in the upper position there is room for the cutlery attachment on top to hold kitchen knives which clip in, about 50mm of height I would guess. There is an additional cutlery basket that is moulded to span over the plate racks so can be moved in different positions to suit the load. Plastics don't feel as though they'll last forever but I think that is common to all white goods. Operating cost is comparable with other machines. It is inexpensive but not cheap. It is cheap to run, it is extremely quiet in operation, and it cleans very effectively. There are two slight annoyances I found, the waste hose was shorter than the machine this replaced meaning I had to extend it. If your waste connection is within a metre of the machine you'll be OK. And that a shorter eco programme would be useful, four hours seems to me to be excessive. But, there are shorter programmes, only marginally more expensive, and the machine still rates as excellent despite these two complaints.
