Works well.

Mackerel Magnet
I used those traces last year for beach casting and, although they don't last terribly long when being savaged by hungry mackerel I can say I took over 500 fish between July and August off the Kent coast.
My only criticism is that I would have preferred if the hooks were a bit larger.

I have found through experience that these books are especially prized by ex-pat Scots living in all corners of the world.
