As a carer for my aged parents, I need to keep my mind active so, I collect & dispose of gems, design & have made jewellery pieces, & in that vein, have done some gemology.

An Oldie but a Goodie
Classic lines, Classic mouldings with great detail & a choice of three (3) different aircraft. An extensive decal sheet & clear, concise instructions. All in all, one of the most masterfully designed 1/48 model kits ever produced, (which is why I sought it out). It also helps heaps that it is one of my favourite aircraft of Nazi design for WWII.
This will be my fourth Fujimi BF110 build. I needed this kit because it has a 1940 Battle of France/Britain "C" ZESTEROR (Destroyer) version that is otherwise impossible to find. If I don't like the decals on offer in the kit (but why wouldn't I) I can always go back to eBay & buy an aftermarket set for the Battle of Britain.
This beautiful Fujimi kit now completes my Nazi set for BoB aircraft. It joins the Heinkel He111D ex Monogram, Junkers Ju 87B ex Tamia & 88A4 ex Dragon, Dornier DO 17Z ex Hobbycraft & Messershcmitt BF 109E1,2,3 or 4 (i've gone for a 3 from Airfix.
Add some after market add-ons, all available from the plethora of eBay stores, & i've got myself some marvellous historical aircraft to build & keep me happy for months.........what else could a retired soldier ask for!

A Seiko 5 with 5 star elegance
1 of 1 found this helpful Its a watch that stands out! A magnificently stylish dial with a textured centre of soft vertical lines giving a velvet grey appearance in certain light. This is separated by a mid minute counter track which is surrounded by a bold black ring with Roman numeral markings at the evens & bar batons at the odds.
The day/date matches the dial colour & its window is framed in silver to match the the outer track numbers & sword style hands.
The finish is good! Don't forget this IS a sub $200 watch. As with all Seiko 5's, the bracelet is a cheap feeling hollow link & it rattles. I've replaced it with a burgundy red Ostrich strap that just makes the whole watch go BANG!
I'm impressed!

Designed to Endure.
Well made with a high quality finish. Good STRONG hardened tool steel with a design that will endure the knocks but, should the tool ends get bent or damaged, just screw them out & replace with a new end piece.
A watchmaker's tool!
