The Golden Girls: Season 1

Defective Disc

I love "The Golden Girls." My review is not of the show, but of the Season 1 DVDs that I received. They were purchased brand new, but I immediately noticed what looks like some kind of wrinkle or small crack in two places on the back of the first disc. Sure enough, it will not play correctly in any device. After opening on the Buena Vista logo, the disc grinds hard in the player, and nothing else happens- no episodes are available to play, no menu screen can be accessed. It's a big disappointment! Only two-thirds of my purchase is in working order.
