Generic Battery seems OK
I bought it as a back-up for an upcoming trip. So far, so good:
Fits camera and powers up. Do not know how many shots it will provide since I have not taken a trip yet.

Good GPS- European Maps
1 of 1 found this helpful I needed a GPS for a driving trip through Europe. Ebay price (used) was about the same as obtaining Europe maps for my Garmin Nuvi650, and this gave me an extra GPS for my other car.
Overall, I would rate the TomTom and Garmin about equal. I like some things better on one, some on the other. Remember, I just got the TomTom and haven't played with it too much. Maybe some of my concerns can be addressed by changing settings.
My observations
PROS: (1) Speed at which the TomTom finds the satelites-- almost intantaneously!! Garmin sometimes takes a minute or two, but it is an older technology.
(2) Voice recognition for entering data. I haven't tried it yet, but sounds neat. Will I have to adopt a suave British accent to be understood?
(3) MP3 Player and FM transmitter- lets me play MP3's through my car radio. (My cars don't have an MP3 input). Can also transmit driving instructions through radio, but I found the built-in speaker to be adequate for that purpose.
CONS: (1) Turn warning not soon enough to allow switching to proper lane if traffic is heavy.
(2) Turn warning doesn't tell street name until you are about to meke the turn. Garmin tells street name significantly ahead, so you know what to look for.
UNKNOWN: Maps of Europe. They are there, but I haven't used them yet. I also haven't used the Bluetooth or Traffic features.
Hope this helps.

Good inexpensive Cell Phone Battery Replacement
Cell phone power time was significantly increased by replacing weak battery.
