Powerful, fast, strong and easily washed.
More powerful than our old stick blender, and the metal chopping head will be heat proof and can be detached and cleaned separately. The power means it blends eg soups very quickly. The detachable head is good for keeping water away from the electrics when cleaning, and the head can even go in a dishwasher. Because it is steel, the head of this blender will not suffer the fate of our old one, which although it lasted many years, finally got a rather misshapen and started cracking, probably to to heat exposure.

nasty hum at low volume
It does work, but produces a nasty hum at low volume levels. OK with generally loud music, but not tolerable for tracks with significant dynamic range, ie quiet patches, as that's when the hum becomes very noticeable. Given the price, perhaps I shouldn't expect better, however the last similar item I had (now broken) didn't have the hum. Giving it 3 stars as this seems to be the first review, though probably only worth 2. No battery, which others have.

Poor quality, usable for rough work though.
As a budget product it's usable for rough work. The paper is more grey than white, and quite a few pages have small random ink splats and other smudges; of the two pads I bought in one case the punched holes were very rough towards the back of the block, and the other pad had the card cover already partly detached from the paper block. It was cheaper than other pads, but considering the number of defects it would need to be even cheaper to be good value.
