Lightweight maybe but incapable of providing an accurate temperature!!!!
Temperature changes according to how near or far it's held away so not 'fit for purpose'. I needed an accurate thermometer to read the exact temperature of someone having Chemotherapy as 'temperature' is an indication of infections etc. I'll be returning this as it's incapable of giving an accurate temperature as the temperature fluctuates with the distance it's held from the subject so no reliance can be placed on any of the readings it give and I suspect that will hold true for it's other functions!

I'm used to covering books but bought this to cover larger books but found it an absolute nightmare to use. A little easier when damping the work surface down so that it's not slipping and sliding everywhere but it does do the job when large books need covering.
