940 Lowering springs review
I fitted these to my car about a month ago and they are brilliant, they have improved the handling massively. Its turned the 940 from a big soft body rolling ship into something that can actually handle fairly well. It has reduced body roll and the car doesn't nose dive so much under braking. it is a little bouncy in the front but that is probably due to old shocks. Although it has stiffened up the car up and totally transformed it, it is still very comfy and nice to drive, the ride isnt harsh at all, it also has made it much more controllable if the back end does kick out on a wet roundabout! The car also sits at a good height too, not slammed so it is still drivable. I would definitely recommend these, but it would be best to change the front shock absorbers while the springs are off as the whole lot has to come off anyway. The rear shocks are fine unless you have the nivomat then they must be replaced with standard units. Overall these are perfect if you want to make your 940/740 a but nicer to drive but not ruin the ride quality.
