There's a reason it's cheap.

I should have realised that £5 was never going to buy a decent alarm, but thought I'd try it anyway. Straight out of the box it didn't set properly, and when it did set, the delay didn't work. This meant that that when I opened the garage door to unset it, the alarm went off immediately rather than giving me time to switch it off. This in itself wasn't a massive problem because the siren is not even that loud and I don't think it would be particularly uncomfortable on the ears of any intruder. Don't judge the ebay seller because it was so cheap there was always the chance it wasn't going to work properly. I've just bought a Yale version for about £15 which is better in every way. As I said before, you get what you pay for and I might have just been unlucky.
