Detailed notes for use with Osprey 4GEE converstion to UK GiffGaff 4G SIM use and PROFILE setting details
Vendor provides great instructions on youtube video, which is how I came by the key vendor. I used it on a UK EE Osprey - an early edition which has a square LED indicator panel. The text and signal strength details etc is "white" on a black ground. And this is a white surround. The edge of the device is turquoise in colour.
I "think" it is was the v1 first Osprey EE edition in the UK. It does all the UK 4G frequencies bar one. BE WARNED. That's why the latter models came out. I wanted to be able to use this on GiffGaff in the UK and these are the setting required to make up your own connection profile - which you MUST do.
Dialing code: *99#
APN: giffgaff.com
Username: giffgaff
Password:Leave blank
If you put back you original EE SIM it will connect immediately. But you may have to reselect your GiffGaff profile you created from above via 192.168.1.1 when you pop the GiffGaff SIM back in.
