Poor quality pattern part and does not fit, Advertised as a genuine Brother part.

Great generator, Well built, Good price.
1 of 1 found this helpful I found this generator of great build quality, expected for a Makita product, The only down side is that is doesn't come with a battery and doesn't mention in the listing that one is required. Other than that just add oil and fuel, doesn't say in the manual what UK grade of oil to use. Found this generator to start on a single pull, before I purchased a battery, with a battery fitted it start quickly. I run it at the maximum rated power which it seemed happy at. The only negative I have found is that the two 13amp sockets fitted will only give you halve of the total power output each, you can't run the generator at the maximum output power via one socket, each socket has a separate breaker. It would of been nice and handy to have been fitted with a 32amp blue 240volt socket so you can take the maximum power from one connection. Well worth the investment.
