Compact, crisp lens.
This lens is very compact. Collapsed into my chrome M9-P with its custom cap it can be carried in the palm of my hand and looks like my 55 year old M2 with its original lens. It seems more resistant to flare than my tabbed Summicron and I only use the hood if it's raining. It looks beautiful and it is beautifully made. The focus is much easier than I expected and the whole range from 0.7m to infinity is achieved with just 90 degrees rotation. It is sharp with beautiful colour and very nice out of focus rendering. I really don't need faster than this on the M9. It has hardly been off the camera since I got it.
