COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, EFFORT & MONEY ! PLEASE DON'T THROW YOUR HARD-EARNED CASH AWAY ON THIS ABOMINATION !
This 2CD set is absolutely dire. Most of the assorted musical aberrations present sound similar - dreary dirges with unimaginative lyrics, predictable guitar riffs and a wailing vocal performance that frequently sounds strained. I suppose, being charitable, the bass & percussion sound fairly tight, if dull. But the biggest disappointment is the production quality - this has been remastered, so presumably the fact that it all sounds like it was recorded on an ancient cassette recorder in an echoey garage is deliberate. Believe me, I've listened to some crap music in my lifetime, but this is without a doubt the worst 'professional' collection of allegedly musical dross my ears have ever been tortured by ! IMHO
