Diprobase Cream 500g for Dry Skin and Eczema Pump Dispenser

*TERRIBLE* It’s not the same as prescription Dirprobase emollient

I bought the product expecting the same quality product of Diprobase emollient that I get from my GP from time to time. I needed some quickly as I ran out and used my last prescription one a few days ago. Looking at the picture of the product it’s an identical label and a 500g pump bottle so I placed the order expecting all would be OK. I was first surprised there was no seal on the pump which made me question how genuine the product is? I then dispensed some of the emollient and realised it’s nothing like Diprobase emollient which you get on prescription at all, even though the label is the same. It’s a very thin emollient, smells and feels identical to the cheap E45 in white bottles. I think it’s a counterfeit product that’s being retailed to sellers. I will certainly be contacting diprobase directly with the product label info. Diprobase emollient on prescription is a much thicker heavier cream that takes moderate massaging of the emollient for the skin to absorb it. This is watery in comparison and just soaked straight in. Avoid it at all costs and just wait to speak to a Dr for a prescription of it.
