Good quality. good value for the money

Can't fault it. A quick replacement and the mower runs fine. The nice thing about this carburettor is that the jets are adjustable so I can tune it for optimum running.

Don't know much about other wedges, but ...

Don't know much about other wedges, but this one does the job. Well designed, strong but lightweight. The rachet shaped facets on the surface not only provide a grippy contact with the tyre, but also locks the chock in position.

Just rubbish design

No blame on the suppliers, this always was a poor design. Plastic gears are cheap and good enough if you only mow cricket pitches or bowling greens. I have dogs and hens that like to scatter twigs etc on the lawns, these also get mowed. The sudden extra load just knocks teeth off the pink gears. I've replaced them once too often, I've moved on to making a pair of steel gears.
