In all fairness, I am new to digital vhf/uhf so I have no basis for comparison. I found the programming instructions less than satisfactory.
0 of 6 found this helpful I found the programming instructions less than satisfactory and required the assistant of a friend with the same model. After experiencing distorted receive audio and dropouts on receive, I upgraded ALL the software and firmware to 2.19. The unit itself was what is referred to as a version 2 unit. The problems continued and I returned the unit.
