    GENUINE PEUGEOT 206 REAR AXLE TRAILING ARM BUSH BEARING REPAIR KIT 4 PCS 47MM

    Genuine parts, decent quality, installation makes all the difference...
    The genuine trailing arm bearings are perfectly good & fit for purpose, just make sure the axle shaft on which they run is not marked by rust/previous bearing failure or they'll go again in a matter of months. Not that hard to change the shafts, using 2" thick wall tube/lengths of 25mm high tensile threaded bar/nuts/washers as a puller (insert ground down nut in shaft & add ring of weld around end of shaft, then place tube over & use another nut/washers/plenty of molyslip to wind the old shaft out) As long as the shafts are good/replaced with new, fitting genuine bearings is ideal but do ensure that (lots) of extra grease is added on assembly. The reason these fail originally is because of lack of grease at the factory (bearings come pre-greased and this is all that was ever used!), slather the axle shaft with extra moly grease & pack the trailing arm between the bearings and they should last indefinitely. Also make sure the seals run on clean metal not rusty/gritty rubbish.

    Cheap and very cheerful, excellent product
    ***3 year update*** Crane is still working well, pump cylinder is starting to get a bit sloppy and leak very slightly & the "legs" for the stowed position are a bit wobbly but other than that it's been a great investment and has saved the day many times not just for lifting engines (you could say it's been mildly abused, has stood up to it well). Still 100% recommend this crane and expect to get a good few more years out of it yet ***end*** Bargain basement price, which shows in the finishing with some burred holes and quite a bit of play in the pump mechanism, and in the ram near full extension, but overall it's more than good enough and well up to the job. Even if it only lasts for a couple of jobs it'd work out cheaper than hiring one, and replacement parts are either available or easy to make so even if it did fail I'd keep and fix it. So far it's holding up well though and I can't see anything likely to go wrong any time soon. Overall I can 100% recommend this crane to anyone on a tight budget who's likely to remove/rebuild more than 2 engines, by which time it'd pay for itself in hire costs. Spend the money saved on better quality parts to go into the engine.

    Does what it needs to do, for a good price...
    I was a bit wary of buying an "ebay" Diagbox kit as I know from the French Car Forums that not all of them work, and none of them come with the 30-pin connector for older cars wired correctly. This one however, is one of the good ones that does work. So far it's been used to activate various upgrades to our '02 206 and clear some historic fault codes as well as coding a new stereo to the car and it's been brilliant, I do intend to work out the wiring for the 30-pin plug too as I want to use it on one of our Xantia that has an airbag issue. The only thing I would advise is that before trying to install the software, you need to make sure you're running Windows 7 32-bit only, and do a full factory reset on the computer as it didn't want to run properly on a well-used install of windows but after a factory reset it works perfectly well and is faster than I had expected too. Overall, despite the initial setup issues (which were my fault, I was advised to use a fresh install of windows!) this kit has been nothing but helpful and easy to use. Well recommended.
