Underrated product that is superior upgrade.
0 of 1 found this helpful I had no idea the change in picture quality and the smart hub applications that would become available after the upgrade. I was so impressed that I have been bidding on additional units for my 2 other samsung plasmas. I did have issue with operation the second day. The unit appeared sluggish and non responsive. The operatiom of the wired vs wireless were apparent. I finally left the unit in wireless mode. The unit automatically reinstalled itself. Ever since the wireless mode and reinstall the unit has been working just fine. Any hesitation in system response is directly related to my homes wifi router and not the evolution kit. I have never been able to sort out the wired configuration. But since the superior picture quality with wireless who really cares about the wired configuration ?

Samsung Main Logic Board Replacement
I ordered the main logic board to replace the unit that had been bricked by the Samsung Evolution Kit . I was moving to a new location and removed the Evolution Kit to minimize damage. Seemed ok at the time until I went to reinstall reinstall the Evolution Kit. I managed to misalign the kit and short out the Evolution kit . Upon reinstall the pins must have been slightly off from the removal. I never dreamed that this could occur, but I managed to damage both of my SAMSUNG PDF8400 Plasma tv. I was extremely upset over the entire exposure. I cut the rear tv panel so I would never have this very expensive incident occur again. The new main logic board was installed but I did not install the Evolution Kit .
