WLTOYS F949 2.4G 3CH RC AIRPLANE FIXED WING PLANE OUTDOOR TOYS US SHIPPING V7U8

Pretty little plane, 3 motor setup is a gimmick & mine had board problems.
This is a neat looking little RC beginner's plane. It is small and flies relatively well with zero or very low winds. Anything over that and it is a challenge, but can be flown to some degree. The main reason I am giving it a not so great review is that I think the three motor approach is a total gimmick, and in fact a negative factor. I think it would be a much better plane with a single N60 sized motor. Mine (which btw, was not purchased through Amazon), had a bad connection on the main board causing it to lose connection with the receiver when the plane tilted in certain directions. I managed to fix this by putting a wire tie around the servos and exerting just a little pressure on the board which eliminated the problem. I hot glued the tie in place and all seems well. I tried to isolate the exact location and re-solder it but I could never narrow it down enough for this. The landing wheels on this are very small, so takeoff on anything other than a smooth paved surface is pretty much out of the question. The wheels are also easy to come off and potentially get lost. A carefully placed tiny bit of super glue on the axle going into the outer wheel retainer will probably avoid this, but be very careful not to glue the wheel on the axle. For most applications, just leave the wheels off and belly land it on soft grass. It's not a bad plane for the price, but one reason for the three stars is also that for around the same money you can get the F959, which is superior in every aspect, and a great choice for a beginner.

A Big Improvement Over Stock Batteries
I ordered these for my Blade Inductrix that I have converted to a tiny whoop...they work much better with more strength and longer flight time than the 25C stock batteries, even though the MAH is the same.
Hubsan x4 H107D RC Quadcopter FPV Helicopter with Camera Live Video Transmitter

Too small and jumpy for real fpv flying
Hubsan 107 quads are a lot of fun to zip around with in the yard. I found the 107D to be very heavy, and not really a good fpv flyer. For one thing, there is no altitude hold on this model, so if trying to fly fpv, you are constantly fighting keeping it at a level altitude. This is magnified by the heavy weight of the model relative to it's size and lift. Hubsan also has a tendency to fight small yaw inputs...you try and yaw slightly right, and it corrects itself back to the original trajectory. Thirdly, on any of these built in low power fpv transmitters, range is not good and interference is abundant. If you buy one of these, I would highly suggest buying the newer model with altitude hold, I would also suggest buying a set of high current (2400 mah or higher) rechargeable cells for the transmitter, as built in receiver / monitor for the fpv sucks battery life. Either buy the rechargeable batteries or buy some stock in a battery manufacturer of your choice.
