it is indeed to be sniffed at.
1 of 1 found this helpful Whilst this item does exactly what it is intended to do it is not worth the cost for a plastic box. In addition the tray does not slide smoothly leading to 'spillage'.

Excellent archiver if you see one and you want to convert your vinyl bid!
Ugly brute to tell the truth and not the very best built turntable around.However with it's more than adequate platter, tone arm, built in hard drive, CD player/recorder, USB connection and software this is without doubt the best all round unit I have seen for digitally archiving your vinyl collection.Just be aware it's line-in input into your amplifier.No longer not stocked by Maplin's and a bit pricey at it's full R.R.P. this unit however is becoming increasingly harder to find new, but if you can get a good well looked after second hand unit for sub circa £150 you're onto a winner!

Primal screams 20th annaversary tin without the tin
I fancied a remastered copy of Screamadelica and also was attracted to the live cd available in the limited edition tin, but did'nt want to pay £80 plus for a big biscuit tin,even with the Screamadelica artwork on it!.And of course it's a promo only item.
