It definitely works like a skimmer should!
First saltwater aquarium in many, many years. I don't think there was such and thing, back when I had my first tank. I put it in and it seems to be doing what it said it would. So, I'm happy as a clam!

NOT FOR ELECTRIC
First of all it says Universal and Electric. Mine came with no numbers, and none to stick on, it did, however, come with stick on's that say "lite", which is for gas. A knob with no numbers doesn't really work for me. I have an Electric stove.
