And Now For Something Completely Different
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the same hilarious Monty Python sketch comedy we've all come to love, but on a much higher production quality budget. If you can only afford ONE Python-esque episodic movie, this is the one!

Secondhand Lions
1 of 1 found this helpful This movie will just make you feel good...Haley Joel as the wide-eyed youth with no real roots in his life learning from his long-lost (and reportedly wealthy) eccentric uncles Robert Duval and Michael Caine. There is a story-within-a-story about the adventures the uncles had in their coming-of-age years, a somewhat whimsical tale of Arabian Knights and true love that Haley believes without question... even in the onslaught of more realistic explanations of the source of the old mens' supposed treasure coming from greedy relatives with their own eyes on the inheritance. The lion itself is a minor player in the show, but serves as a shining example of the uncles' eccentricity. I saw parts of the movie on TV once, and was totally hooked... you will be, too!

A Man's Point of View
1 of 1 found this helpful I didn't watch the Gilmore girls for probably the first 3 or 4 seasons because I thought it was one of those 'girly' shows....then I caught part of an episode that was absolutely fantastic, and asked my wife what she was watching.... so I became hooked after one short scene, and have been as addicted as she is ever since. Something for everyone, not unlike 'MASH' in that it will make you laugh, cry, love, and hate in the same show.....and now I have every single moment to study at my leisure. My pals at the VA and biker bars don't look funny at me anymore, since most of them are now fans, too.....
