Eton Solar Radio
I bought this radio when my Roberts Solar Radio died. This was the third Roberts Solar that had died on me.
I was a little sceptical when it arrived as it was so small. However, when I used it in the garden, the reception is good, I can hear the programmes that I've selected and the solar generation means that I've never had to wind it or plug it in.
So, as a cheap, solar radio, it is a bargain. How long it will last , I don't know but I've had it for a few months now and it's fine.
I'd probably buy another one if I left it out in the rain or left it behind somewhere.,

A Gull On The Roof
I meant to read this book and others by Derek Tangye, years ago but never got round to it. The wait was worth it as anyone with a decent knowledge of West Cornwall, especially from the 50’s onwards, will enjoy its local flavour, the taste of the sea and the hardship of being a small, market gardener.
I loved it and raced through it, as always, reluctantly finishing a good read.
I can heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to sample the flavour of life in West Cornwall.

Philips NT9110 Nasal Hair Trimmer
1 of 1 found this helpful What a fantastic machine! All those years of trying a Boots or other manufacturer's nasal hair trimmer and suffering the pain of having a hair ripped out. The Phillips version is painless, very efficient, quick and so easy to use. I'm delighted with it and so will you be if you buy one. It even does eyebrows and ears.
