Delivers Norwegian Language Learning Experience
I am a fan of Teach Yourself and this volume did not disappoint. It is my primary text for learning Norwegian with plenty of audio, exercises, and the right amount of grammar. Vocabulary is useful and the different shades of meaning are worked into the dialog. My only qualm is that the questions are answered in English (I answer them verbally in Norwegian). I would recommend this as the main text with supplements as needed.

The real deal. Old school and didactic.
This is the version to buy. Old school, didactic, and thorough. Newer versions tend to be more watered down. Having the CD (and a player in the car, computer, and on my desk), makes this version very convenient and uses less bandwidth.
