A poor clone...
A very poor clone of the original, which was excellent. Just felt flat with weak characters. Stick with the original.

VERY PLEASED WITH MY DANELECTRO!!
1 of 1 found this helpful The build quality and finish were, to be honest, a lot better than I was expecting! In fact no blemishes/negatives etc at all - and I am very picky..
I bought this after I read an enthusiastic review in a guitar mag, and was afraid I had overhyped it in my mind - but such a pleasant surprise:
The perfectly executed White finish is kind of pearl metallic white - very nice - and the sides are properly finished - not the vinyl tape sides of hitherto. Feels great in the hand and a very nice unplugged tone - and just sounds great when plugged in and cranked up :-)
No downsides at all - and excellent value for money. The Blue pick guard and knobs perfectly complement the white body. And with the chrome lipstick pickups and Rickyesque slash this is a very stylish guitar - kind of retro and very modern at the same time. Korean made and there is no 'far east factory' feel to it at all - it has become one of my favourites straightaway (and I have some very nice top brand guitars for it to compete with…)
100% recommended.
