It's alright....
I can't NOT recommend it, despite it not being the best product for the job. I am given to understand that this product USED to come with clamps - and the foam the parts come contained in seems to indicate that this was the case. I can tell you it would have been much better with the clamps. I don't know why they stopped making them with the clamps, because there are times when the stand wants to slide about and it's not great in that respect, but that said, it does take the weight of the laptop on it.
