Great book about a much loved line
Excellent book well written. Well researched and easy to read .Plenty of very good colour photos .It shows the line from start to closure.The author obviously knows his stuff and at 80 pages is great vlue for money. I can highly recommend this book and would encourage any rail enthusiast to buy it

Great book from a bygone era
Shows all B.R locos that were running at the time. Well laid out and some good photos. Also gives shed allocations
If you are an old train spotter like me, you will love this book. Also excellent as a reference book. Vvery reasonably priced.It brought back a lot of memories.

A golden treasury of steam days
Some great photos of the golden age of steam. Also very good text and accounts of where the photos were taken and when. All done in the usual excellent style of Robert Adley. I would recommend this book to all rail enthusiasts. Great value for money and a very good reference book.Steam trains in glorious colour as they should be
