As other purchasers have noted, this is not suitable for all handsets - mine has the cable socket not perpendicular to the surface it is in, so the wide base prevents it being inserted into the handset, and it can't be fitted to the other end as this is beneath the phone. If it fit, it would work well as it would prevent the twisting of the handset (pick up in one hand, swap hands, hang up with the other) from winding-up the cable so causing tangles.
