Bagster tank bag
Large, expandable tank bag. Looks and feels good quality, map pocket accessible through a Velcro sealed flap gives reasonable access - though not while wearing gloves. Map pocket tapers towards the top so limits the width of map on display. Side pockets useful for small items - sunglasses visor wipes etc. Zipped main compartment space is reduced by the shape of the tank beneath, but still adequate. There are elasticated retaining straps inside too, although I haven't used them and a mesh pocket in the lid. The base (tank side) of the bag has mesh and padding and a pocket to store the shoulder straps. It was easier to carry the bag with the large exterior handle, though if you have other luggage to carry the back-pack option is useful. The mounting system strapped to the bike easily and was quite adjustable (multiple types of straps are supplied), the forward bag mounting catches could be a little difficult to reach but they do allow for re-fuelling without completely removing the bag. The bag comes with a waterproof cover elasticated to fit fairly closely around the base, this was slow to fit and took up space in the main compartment when not in use - hence 4 stars, but a clear window allowed the map to be read through the cover. I haven't used the expansion other than testing - it's big enough for a helmet. Overall I'm happy with the bag, it provided easy access to essentials and accessories and has a good capacity. I was a little surprised at the width of the bag, but it proved useful.
