Disappointment but you get what you pay for

I bought this pan to replace an old expensive Meyer pan, as I was looking for something more environmentally friendly. It's quite light and despite having the pan on full heat Disppointmentwhile making a risotto, it did not cook the ingredients through in the same way. It's probably fine for boiling pasta, warming things up, etc, but is not the heavy guage universal large pan I was looking for.
