I made it fit like the original handle

The handle was to a unit over 30 years old. It fit but was loose as the older shaft was longer.I put the old handle in a vise, used a jigsaw to cut off about an inch of the old handle, then put the old handle piece on to fill in the void. It works like new now. It was an easy fix!
