Knight rider Lighted strip

I bought this for a retro bit of knight rider fun. Not having enough room to fiddle inside the engine bay of my car and not wanting to over complicate things I decided to mount this on my dash board. Being white plastic I covered my set with tinted film that I had left over from my tinted windows Windows. The lights now blend into my dash. I modified a £1 USB cigarette charger by drilling a little hole and connected the red and black wires so now it is powered from my cigarette lighter. It has several lighting patterns with the classic knight rider being one of the settings, with a speed setting too. The good thing is even when powered off and powered back on the unit remembers the last setting so you haven't got to configure it to your liking again. For added effect I burned a CD with the knight rider turbine engines running to give it that little more authentic feeling.
