Peanut problems
I buy lots of peanuts and am always looking to buy at a good price.
This bag had too many wizened and blackened peanuts unfortunately, and if you look closely at the picture you can see that, alas I didn't look hard enough before I bought them.

A carry about lens
I've long been a fan of the Nikon 18-200mm lens, it's my steady workhorse but then Nikon introduced an upgraded version with improved VR.
I thought long and hard about spending money on a lens I already had in my kit bag but I'm pleased I did.
The lock to stop the lens creep is worth having if like me you're climbing up and down over uneven ground and the new VR works extremely well.
Images at f9 (the sweet spot) are crisp and sharp and the lens is a comfortable size to have an a camera you're carrying all day.
This lens does everything you ask of it and a bit more, what more could a photographer ask?
Most of the landscape shots on my website www.after-the-rain.co.uk where taken with a Nikkor 18-200mm lens and I've had them printed up to 2metres wide with no problem.
Have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this lens.

padded pouch smaller than I expected
I've had Tamrac bags before, they're generally well thought out and very well made.
This has lots of good points but the only padded pocket is tiny.
It said in the blurb it would take a small DSLR, I wanted it for a Sony bridge camera so I thought I'd be fine.
No way I could get it into the pocket.
It will take my Panasonic CSC camera with the small lens on, but, even that isn't quick to access once it's in, you have to manoeuvre it back out again.
I ended up buying a neoprene cover for the bridge camera which goes in the main pouch and I use the small padded pocket for my Lee Filters.
Bag is very comfortable to carry and very well made but it's not really a camera bag, IMHO.
